George S. Miaris was born in Neubeckum, Germany in 1968. He received the B.Sc. degree in Physics in
1993 and the MSc in Electronic Physics (Radioelectrology) in 1996, both
from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. During 1995-1996 he
was a research assistant at the Radio Communications Laboratory,
Department of Physics a position he returned to after completing his
military service in 1998. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D in Design and
Optimization of Multifrequency Antenna Arrays.

Since 2003 he has been a
member of the Technical stuff of the Radiocommunications Laboratory.

His research interests
include antenna array design, cellular mobile systems, RF measurements,
measurement automation, wave propagation and computational electromagnetics.
